NWLA Makerspace has quickly grown to become the go to resource for leveraging Science, Technology, Engineering and math as well as well as innovation to impact the potential economic status of the underserved and Asset limited income constrained (ALICE) individuals and families throughout the local region of Northwest Louisiana. We constantly seek ways to grow and expand so that more of our residents in underserved communities and districts including our designated opportunity Zones Shreveport and Bossier. In recent years, we have partnered with organizations like Cohab to provide an inhouse resource for providing makerspace services to inventor entrepreneurs they serve. Their members have access to not only our connections to the community as well as the benefit of learning about cutting edge technology and modernized skills that they can leverage to develop their products and services.
