NXT City is a non-profit organization based in Toronto that connects young talent with a network of established leaders to create, activate and program public spaces. NXT City leverages the momentum of a new wave of creative talent with a call for vibrant public spaces to create a brand new engagement tool. Through careful curation of ideas, an all-star network of advisors and a brand that resonates with young people, NXT City has scaled to become a leading organization in city building.Since 2014, NXT City has supported the creation and implementation of over 300 public space improvement ideas in Toronto, reached millions of people through social media, hosted sold-out public space events including the launch of our NXT City Summit conference - the largest public space event of its kind in Canada, and partnered with city officials, including Chief Planner Jennifer Keesmaat and leading city-building companies like Oxford Properties, Arup, Uber, CBRE, and Build Toronto to advance our mission.
