The NxtGen Houses construction system is a further development of our earlier released and proven NxtGen construction systems, NxtGen Industrial Buildings (2016) and NxtGen Kitchens & Restaurants (2018). NxtGen Houses combines the strengths and advantages of various existing steel and wooden construction systems with new materials resulting in a game changing industrial building system for the future.NxtGen Houses are developed with circularity in mind and the objective that all the parts and components can be reused in following projects and so extend their lifecycle. This means on one hand standardize parts as much as possible and primarily use sliding, shear, screw and bolt connections and on the other hand avoid virtually all permanent connections such as welding, glueing or the use of concrete. This is important because it ensures that our buildings can be dismounted.NxtGen houses are built to last, if required because of changed circumstances they can also be dismounted and rebuild. They are easy to adapt to a new function and can be moved to another location. Our prefabricated components consist out of durable materials/parts with a high lifespan that can be linked to each other but with the ability to release them again (plug-and-play). Demolition becomes disassembly and reuse.We use easy obtainable building materials and we are not dependent on special (heavy) machinery or suppliers, this ensures short lead times and ongoing assembly resulting in a short building time of our houses. The materials we use are chosen carefully using criteria such as a high level of quality to ensure a long lifespan, and low maintenance. If two different materials (one being bio-based) have equal performance, preference will be given to the bio-based material. Our own developed and made to order building elements, components and assemblies ensure that we remain in control of the entire building process. NxtGen building is evergreen.
