Hi, I am Noah Yaghoubian the owner of NYPC IT. NYPC IT opened its retail location in 2010. We started out as a computer repair company and would only fix things when they broke. The break/fix method is partly what gave us the patience and knowledge to always get things handled in a tense moment. Always having to think on your feet in a moment's notice forces a person to adapt to any customer's environment. Over the years of doing break/fix, I had to fix thousands of issues and deal with some of the oddest situations. Like the time a client of mine had a disgruntle employee that walked out the front door with their server, or another client that had their current IT guy go rogue and locked them out of the server and tried to ransom them for $26K …true story. Being put in those high-pressure tense moments without having the proper infrastructure and precautions in place is devastating to a business and can cost thousands of dollars per day or even worse, resulting in you going crazy. In 2015 I started reselling Anti-Virus and Local Backup software to clients but learned the hard way that Anti-Virus and Local Backup is no match for a professional hacker. With today's technology moving as fast as it does, no small business has the time to keep up with it. This is what made me make the switch to exclusively offer managed services and no longer offer break/fix to commercial clients. By switching to the MSP model allows us to use our time-tested method to provide you with the best service possible. While I am NOT claiming you will never have problems. I am claiming to take a proactive approach to make sure the proper infrastructure and precautions are in place to keep your systems running smooth and in the event of disaster be able to recover in a timely manner.
