The NYU Student body is represented by 23 School Senators, 14 Senators-at-Large, 14 Alternate Senators-at-Large, Council Presidents, and the Global Student Council.The President's Council is made up of 27 Presidents representing an individual school's Student Council and 15 Council Presidents representing student constituencies across NYU.School Senators, Senators-at-Large, and Alternate Senators-at-Large make up the Student Senator's Council.The Global Student Council (GSC) is represented by the Chairperson of NYU's Student Government Assembly on the University Senate and the Global Vice Chair. The GSC body consists of the Student Body President of NYU Abu Dhabi, the Student Body President of NYU Shanghai, the NYU Abu Dhabi Senator of the Student Senators Council, the NYU Shanghai Senator of the Student Senators Council, the Chairperson of the Site Ambassadors Committee, the Chairpersons of the NYU Abu Dhabi and NYU Shanghai Global Committees, and 14 Site Ambassadors for every NYU study abroad location.
