NZ Asian Lawyers is a sub-group of NZAL, which was established in 2013 to connect, inspire and grow Asian leaders across New Zealand, and these values and vision will underpin NZ Asian Lawyers.The aim of NZ Asian Lawyers is to offer collegiality, guidance, and wisdom to the growing Asian legal community in New Zealand. Foundation members include senior and younger lawyers from private practice, government and academia.NZ Asian Lawyers will also be a repository of expertise on Asians in the law to assist all lawyers to successfully advise and deal in a culturally appropriate way with Asian clients. NZ Asian Lawyers can also assist courts, the Ministry of Justice, law schools and continuing legal education providers to ensure equal access to justice for Asians in New Zealand
