O2WATERATOR was founded in 2015 within Hutchison Kinrot, a leading water and Cleantech technologies seed investor, owned by Hutchison Water, a division of CK Hutchison Holdings. O2Waterator develops a completely new aerator system, operated by water pressure rather than electricity, rendering it completely safe, light and simple to operate. The O2Waterator device is connected to a water pump which is located on dry land out of the wet pond areas and provides the aerator with constant water flow energy. The advanced design enables the new aerator to significantly dispense more water than existing electrical paddlewheels and as a result enriches the water with more dissolved oxygen. In addition, the new aerator is made of plastic materials, which allow it to float in the water without requiring a buoyant like existing aerators. This will enable a single fisherman to carry and deploy aerators, thereby cutting on the operating costs of fish farms.
