Organisation for African Business Development For many centuries the true wealth of the African continent has been kept in the dark due to many socio-political and economic challenges. Not only has Africa been used for many centuries as a global source of supply for product and commodity, it has also suffered under foreign rule and Internal strife. This has led to Africa failing to reach its full potential and unable to truly infiltrate the international market due to fears of doing business in "darkest Africa." The failure of the sleeping global giant that is Africa to awaken and to realize its true potential remains a source of frustration for its children who remain passionate about the advancement of the continent. Many efforts to stabilize countries in Africa have been torn apart due to war, civil unrest, and poverty and socio-economic depression. Africa's problem is not just due to failures in international efforts, but also because Africans have failed to truly unite and stand together in cooperation for the advancement of all.
