Oakland Avenue Artists Coalition Details
The Oakland Avenue Artists Coalition (OAAC) is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to serve as a catalyst for the transformation of Oakland into the North End's art corridor that will feature a public art park and continuous performing arts events at varying locations along the corridor. OAAC strives to engage and encourage neighborhood youth in positive self-expression through the arts and uplift and heal the community infrastructure of the North End neighborhood through artistic place making and through building an art economy that sustains artists. OAAC's multi-generational leadership includes artists of multiple disciplines in the performing and visual arts.
