The Association is an incorporated not-for-profit organization which exists to serve the needs of its Members primarily, but also those of its stakeholders. It is governed by a Volunteer Board of Directors. Programs and Services are determined through the extensive strategic planning process based on the high viability and impact in reference to the value proposition for each Program or Service. Staff and Volunteers are the key to program and service delivery in our organization. Member and stakeholder feedback are major drivers in decisions made on the delivery of our programs and services, but not always the deciding factor as the capacity of the Association is the final determinate. Producing and providing Continuing Education in a variety of formats, including the Annual General Conference, Section Meetings, and on-line courses. Advocating on behalf of the Members and the Profession to government bodies, as well as the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO) and Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). Having an active government relations program. Advocating for advancing the Scope of Practice of our five (5) Disciplines. Recognition: Recognizing Members' accomplishments through an Awards and Recognition Program. Support: Arranging legal assistance. Advocating on behalf of Members when required. Providing continuing professional development (CPD) to assist Members on maintaining their competence.
