Established in 1985, Oasis Charitable Trust is a multi-national charity committed to helping deprived communities lift themselves out of poverty. We believe that only when you invest in a whole community can you expect to truly reach and have an impact on the lives of its most vulnerable members. That's why we work to create a new sense of ‘neighbourhood', a new sense of belonging and interdependency: a hub. There isn't a blueprint for what a hub looks like, or even what it does. They are different in each location. Some of the support services we offer include: supported housing, 1-2-1 counselling, food banks, parent and child playgroups and even debt advice. One thing that remains the same is that each hub is centred on a school, which provides high quality education alongside transformational community work. Oasis' initiatives are designed to improve all aspects of a young person's life, delivering holistic, long-term support rather than temporary solutions. In essence, we respond to community needs by transforming them into thriving environment's where every person feels safe and included.
