We are a resource center out of Sparks, Nv that helps and supports single fathers that need help with everyday living and support for their children. According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence 1 in 4 men have been physically abused by an intimate partner, and 1 in 7 men have been SEVERELY physically abused by an intimate partner at some point in their lifetime. 48.8% of men have experienced at least one psychologically aggressive behavior by an intimate partner in their lifetime. 1 in 18 men are severely injured by an intimate partner in their lifetime. The problem is that men are treated as weak if they don't stand up to the abuse, wherein they will certainly face prison time if they do. The Oasis Independent Foundation will be Producing Movies, TV Shows and Live Events not only as Fundraisers for the Foundation and other area Nonprofits, but also to bring attention to the mainstream media of the abuse men suffer from women, especially during and after a divorce.
