Our aims are ambitious because the challenges faced by young people are huge. For too many young people, school education has become: ‘… an eleven year experience … whose net effect has been to leave many of them with a smattering of certificates, and a strong feeling of not having been adequately prepared for the rigours and complexities of real life.' Guy Claxton, 'What's the Point of School?'We exist to do something about this. We are not a lobbying group, academic theorists or government advisers. We are a bunch of practitioners who roll our sleeves up and get involved in the nitty-gritty of working out how to solve these big issues.
