Plus Ultra is an observatory dedicated to International Security. The name comes from Latin and means "to go beyond", being adopted as the official motto of Spain by King Charles I in 1516. The motto is a variation of the Roman expression "non plus ultra", which in turn is based on the ancient Greek belief that the limit of the world was marked by the columns of Hercules, located in Gibraltar and Mount Musa. Although the motto was first used in 1516, it has not lost its relevance. Security is a phenomenon that does not understand borders and, if we want to delve into its true meaning, we must go further.
