We are a team based in Oslo, developing a vessel intelligence system. The Oceanstar system has been designed to meet the demanding requirements of users in the government and merchant navy sectors. Applications include decision support for cruise, tankers, bulk carriers, container ships and ferries related to manoeuvring and precise navigation. Oceanstar is a high performance vessel motion monitoring system with multiple functionalities: Berthing guidance Dynamic trim monitoring Accurate speed, heading and rate of turn Oceanstar is wheel marked and offers the following type approved functions: Transmitting heading device THD Dual axis speed log SDMD Rate of turn indicator ROT GNSS device The Oceanstar GNSS service supports the American GPS, the Russian GLONASS, the Chinese BeiDou, and the European Galileo satellite navigation systems. The service provides centimetre level positioning, horizontally and in height, to a consistent level of accuracy on all oceans.
