He was the first in the Czech Republic to perform corrections of short-sightedness (1991), far-sightedness (1993) and combined astigmatizm (1996).- We have the broadest experience with multifocal intraocular lenses in the Czech Republic and the largest number of patients treated.- As the first and only one in the Czech Republic we have the most advanced excimer laser MEL 90 of the German company Zeiss.- Our department is the first in the Czech and Slovak Republic to have an excellent diagnostic and guidance system Verion, a device for cataract surgery Centurion (Alcon, USA) and a top class biometer for intraocular lenses measurement IOL Master (Zeiss, Germany). We were the first in the Czech Republic to implant toric multifocal aspheric intraocular lenses by Alcon.
