Every user wants to know which wireless carrier performs the "best". What constitutes "best" is very subjective especially with poor visibility from carriers. Carrier's optimize their network by driving around to collect signal data. This signal data produces beautiful maps, but it doesn't tell you how the network performs inside your home or at the office. Since carriers cannot survey every building, we are building a mobile first solution that puts the user at the center of the network to benchmark the carrier network instead of the carrier telling users what they are getting through marketing campaigns. Similarly, many users work from coffee shops and co-working spaces without a way of knowing beforehand, if the quality of the wireless network is sufficient. We believe that wireless is the 4th utility and our goal is to create an ecosystem that makes the availability of that utility publicly visible by quantitatively measuring wireless connectivity across every device.
