OFI S.C. (Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana) has behind its back three decades of activity, both in Italy and abroad.Featuring a vast repertoire that includes not only melodramatic, symphonic, choral and chamber music, but also more contemporary and less mainstream productions, OFI is above all characterized by the many-sidedness of its interpretations. Not only conventional Italian "theater circuits" appreciate its work, but also a more transversal, wide-ranged audience, capable of enjoying the contribution that a professional orchestra can guarantee to almost any style of music.The symphonic and opera production performed by OFI is very substantial: it includes the most famous and consolidated Italian popular tracks, but also a less usual repertoire inaccu- rately considered as "marginal", and contemporary titles - even in their global premiere.
