Ofil develops, designs, and manufactures imaging systems that detect during daytime invisible UVc radiation and make it visible. The detected UV radiation is manipulated on-the-fly and presented as a natural readable visual image. Processes that involve emission of UV, such as ionization of air that happens on the surface of hi/medium voltage installations, a phenomenon renown as corona, are thereby discovered by Ofil's systems. Other applications that benefit from Ofil's UV core technology are off-shore oil leaks mapping and hot & cold fire detection. Ofil owns patents on solar blind & visible blind UV detection, and pending intellectual rights on UV tracking.Ofil uses the brand name DayCor® for its range of daytime corona detection systems.
