HistoryOhana-Magazine was founded in the summer of 2013 by former schoolmates, Sammy van Heeswijk & Arjan Matteo Das. Their main goal with their magazine is to create a solid platform with a unique archive. Whether it is about good music, culture, art or just interesting lifestyle news, they just want to share their love for these subjects and create a platform for upcoming and already praised talent.Concept"Ohana" is an idea in Hawaiian culture. The word ʻohana' means family in the Hawaiian language, but in a much wider sense, to include not only one's closer relatives, but also one's cousins, in-laws, friends, race, and other neighbours."Ohana" means family, family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten. The reason why they chose this name is because they want to create a magazine where anybody can feel at home, the underdog that wants recognition or the better-known names still going hard. They want to promote talent instead of entertainment, make you see something new and broader your horizons. This is a place where the love of creativity is the main incentive.SupportOhana wants to support everybody: one of their main goals is to promote upcoming talents in their industry.
