The mission of OSBC is to advance public policies that ensure a vibrant, just, and sustainable economy for Ohio.Ohio Sustainable Business Council (OSBC) is a leading statewide coalition of business networks committed to public policies that support a vibrant, just and sustainable economy. We believe that the business community must play a key role in growing our economy in a manner that creates good jobs and lays the foundation for sustainable economic growth and a strong middle class. Our goal is to ensure that Ohio small businesses that believe in sustainability have a voice and active presence in the policy making process both in Columbus and throughout Ohio.What we do:Promote policies at the state and federal level (jobs & economic development, fair taxes, energy, health care, sustainable agriculture, manufacturing, good wages etc.) that help main street businesses, strengthen communities and ensure a strong middle class.Create a statewide, nonpartisan coalition of businesses, professionals and policymakersPresent innovative, business-tested solutions to Ohio's economic and environmental challenges.Amplify the voice of responsible companies to articulate what sustainable economic development looks like in Ohio.Connect and engage on the issues that matter to high-road business leaders on our website www.osbcouncil.org
