Oil Barriers offers several innovative products like Petro-Barriers, Petro-Plugs, and Petro-Pipes for use in state-of-the-art oil spill containment systems. In addition to effectively trapping oil, these products are 100% foolproof against spills; SPI material reacts chemically with the oil and most other hydrocarbons, preventing any from being discharged from the spill containment systems. SPI's patented passive oil spill containment technology allows rain water to discharge containment areas while shutting down flow in the event of an oil spill.SPI's extensive experience in this type of application is used to create custom designs and install non-biodegradable, non-toxic products for each individual site. The Petro-Barriers and Petro-Pipes are installed in larger containment areas around transformers or oil tanks providing rain water drainage plus 100% oil containment with limited to no maintenance.
