We are training our society's next generation of leaders and providing them with real-world opportunities to practice their skills in an entrepreneurial and experiential environment. Students work with dedicated artists, scholars, and professionals in pursuit of grounded and innovative exploration of the communication tools and strategies used to foster human connection and expression.Degrees Offered:Undergraduate - BA or BS in Communication; BA in Theatre or DanceMinors - Communication, Theatre, Dance, and Film & Video StudiesGraduate - MA in Lifespan and Digital CommunicationOnline Degrees - BS or BA with 5 Majors!Earn a communication degree on your schedule with ODU's online option for the Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Both degrees are the same as our on-campus programs, just delivered online.Online courses are small and include students from our main campus and all over the world. All online Communication courses follow ODU's regular semester schedule, but many will not have a scheduled meeting time, so you can fit class into your personal schedule.
