Old Legion Brewing Company's Founder, Dimitri is no stranger to hard work. After a successful venture in revamping the old Ladora Savings Bank and converting it into a wine bar/bistro, he purchased the old American Legion Building in town and began what would become a grueling 4 year renovation. Soon, the concept of "Old Legion Brewing Company" began to take shape. After many months of research and product development, Dimitri enlisted the help of one of the oldest breweries in the country; Minhas Brewing Company, Monroe, Wisconsin. Old Legion wanted assurances that its beer would be brewed with consistency, quality and an attention-to-detail that exceeds most brewing standards. Minhas provides exactly what Old Legion demands.We are pleased to announce our inaugural beer; "Big Gun Lager". It's a premium lager, brewed with only the finest ingredients you'd expect in a beer. This everyday, easy drinking beer has a slight amber color and a smooth, refreshing finish. (5.5% ABV)
