Museums - Boston, MA, US
The 1729 Old South Meeting House is one of the nation's most important colonial historic landmarks. The largest building in colonial Boston, Old South Meeting House was the center for protest meetings leading to the American Revolution, including protests of the Boston Massacre and the mass meeting of 5,000 that led to the Boston Tea Party in 1773. The non-profit Old South Association in Boston has preserved the Old South Meeting House as a busy museum, treasured National Historic Landmark and an active center for civic dialogue and free expression since 1877. Open to the public daily with a full schedule of programs and events year-round. Please visit www.osmh.org for more information.
