Over the past five years it has built up expertise in caring for adults with complex healthcare needs, and has successfully cared for people with brain injury, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, advanced medical conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's disease, Motor Neurone Disease (MND), terminal conditions such as cancer & renal failure and people requiring ventilation systems. In 2014, it further expanded its services with the development at Fernlea that offers accommodation with a high level of facilities and a hotel feel. The group competes by differentiating its services from competitors through high quality accommodation, a high level of service provision, and its reputation. It has built long and enduring relationships with public authorities and health professionals which is reflected through its high occupancy rates. The company's philosophy is to engage a dedicated care team, to enable this, the company understands the importance of having a strong business foundation. The business management team is responsible for the management, provision and monitoring of business and administrative activities outside the direct provision of care and for agreeing and monitoring financial budgets and controls with the care management teams.
