Olin Design Build Fly is a student-run project team. We compete in an annual, collegiate competition put on by AIAA called Design Build Fly. Our goal is to create a tight-knit community of Olin students who are interested in aerospace and airplanes. Each year, AIAA releases a new set of rules where we must write a design proposal based on the tasks outlined in the rules. If accepted, we then must write a 60 page design report in February. Finally, in April we travel to the competition and fund every member who wants to come.During COVID, we have been focusing on knowledge transfer and the continuation of building our community.
