Saturdays 8am to 12am.Fees We submit directly to most medical aids. My fees are in line with the medical aid rate and your claim can be submitted directly to your medical aid after your treatment. I also cater for private patients and have credit card facilities available.Cancellation Policy The practice has a 4 hour cancellation policy. Appointments not cancelled within this time will be charged for in full.Referrals You do not need to be referred by a doctor or specialist to attend physiotherapy. Physiotherapists are trained to assess, diagnose and manage many different conditions from initial injury to full recovery.What to expect from your physiotherapy session:Physiotherapy is concerned with the assessment, treatment and prevention of injury and movement dysfunction.Management aims to restore the highest level of function and prevent recurrence of injury.Treatment techniques used include patient education regarding the diagnosis and planned management, skilled hands on therapy, rehabilitation exercises, electrotherpy, strapping and dry needling.Physiotherapy sessions last 45 minutes. The physiotherapist will firstly have an in-depth discussion with you regarding your condition. Following this, the physiotherapist will need to do a physical assessment. Gowns and shorts are provided as the area being assessed will need to be exposed. Please bring your own if this would be more comfortable for you.The physiotherapist will discuss with you the findings of the assessment/diagnosis and together a management plan will be chosen and commenced. After the treatment, you will be sent home with advice and exercise to continue with until your following session.
