Oncoliq is a startup that is developing a screening method for early cancer detection based on liquid biopsy using a small blood sample. Our technology is based on the detection of microRNAs that are increased in the blood of people at the early stages of tumor development. For the identification of these biomarkers we are developing a detection method based on optical molecular biosensors. This sensing method is scalable, low cost, non-toxic and will allow the detection of microRNAs in a laboratory with basic equipment.
