One Dog is a small business based in Guelph, Ontario.One Dog was founded from our passion for fostering rescue dogs and supporting animal welfare practices nationally and globally. Through fostering, we fell in love with making dog bandanas to outfit our adoptable pups and have now em"barked" on this adventure to create handmade small-batch dog bandanas, quilts, and candles in repurposed containers. Every product we sell is named in honour of one of our past foster pups or a dog close to our hearts.We donate a portion of proceeds with every sale and, to date, have donated over $1100 in financial or physical donations to rescue partners since our launch in September 2020.The market is saturated with dog accessories companies, and we stand out because of our social entrepreneurship and commitment to our social mission. All profit is reinvested into making our operations as sustainable as possible. We source materials from Canadian companies and aim to create items from donated, repurposed, or sustainably sourced products. In 2021, we will be working towards a plastic-neutral certification and creating a dog supply thrifting program.
