One Forest is a forest farm and woodland activity space where people from all walks of life can gather to play, experience, and learn from nature.Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains on 5 woodland acres of a 21 acre Nelson County family homestead and in an ever-changing temperate deciduous woodland where Spruce Creek murmurs as wildlife abound. Through productive conservation, we strive to preserve this woodland.In our forest, we host a wide variety of programs and events that aim to educate and connect you with permaculture, forest farming, nature awareness and nature therapy.Our mission is to create a welcoming environment where people of all ages are given the opportunity to create an ongoing relationship with the natural world.
