One Million Orphans project has a mission to reach out to touch orphans, vulnerable children on streets, shelter homes or slums and pledges to make a lasting impact on each life so that every child knows that they matter. ONE MILLION ORPHANS ?Who is an Orphan ? Any child whose one or both parents have died, are unknown, or have permanently abandoned them. One can also define it as a child who is without parents or willing and capable legal. Therefore, as an initiative, they would like to help:Orphans who's one or both parents have diedVulnerable street children without any resourcesChildren in shelter homes lacking resourcesUnder-priviledged and distressed children in slums (with or without parents)In order to reach out to maximum and give out the best help possible, they are working with few selected NGO's/organisations who have been helping orphans, street children, other vulnerable children in slums.OUR MISSION & PLEDGECovid-19 has caused so much devastation around the world. Amongst the worst affected by the global pandemic are babies and young children in India who have lost their parents to the horrific disease or have been isolated from their families due to dire circumstances. The world has changed for us all, but for orphans, street children, vulnerable children living in shelter homes and slums, the world has all but been destroyed. The situation may seem completely hopeless for these children unless those of us who are able to help, step in to act as their friends and give them the support they need to survive and thrive. The One Million Orphans, One Million Friends project has a mission to reach out to touch all these distressed vulnerable children whether on streets or slums, one child at a time, and pledges to make a lasting impact on each and every life so that each child knows that they matter and each child has the hope of a bright future. Help them to know that they haven't lost everything.
