One More Day, Inc. believes the goal must be a continuum of upstream and downstream efforts for Veterans, future Veterans, those who engage and support Veterans, families, communities, employers, influencers, and decision makers. The fullness of this approach can be described as "building of community" where Veterans, future Veterans, and their families thrive.One More Day, Inc. serves its mission by providing: training, awareness, promotion, advocacy, and solutions.• Operation: Reaching the FutureSchool aged children face significant issues with their mental health causing them to be at an increased risk of completing suicide. Operation Reaching the Future's goal is to create awareness about mental health, to showcase options for developing hope in life and to show the importance of hard work, dedication and the results that can follow. This initiative will create awareness through role modeling from prominent service members who have and continue to face adversity in life. • Operation: Better TogetherThe Better Together Initiative brings our military and police forces together to train on recognizing the signs of suicide allowing them to be ready, willing, and able to respond to those in crisis. Joint training is important to support coordinated military and civilian suicide prevention and intervention systems to effectively respond to a person in crisis.
