The project was led by 30 culturally diverse students from different schools across Australia (QLD, VIC, NSW, ACT), New Zealand, and the UK who came together to sing an original song that encompasses love, respect, cultural diversity, gratefulness, and togetherness. The video is a display of true unity as the students came from Caucasian, First Nations, Maori, African, Asian, Indian, and Muslim backgrounds. Our charity was founded by Daniel Chen aka. Kenji Lee who is a part-time Australian high school teacher of Taiwanese and Japanese heritage. He recently produced & directed an anti-bullying short film "Slugger" with Former World Boxing Champion Jeff Horn for National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence 2021, which was also well received by news outlets and schools. One Song Foundation is here so that young people from any culture, gender, and background can pursue their passion in the creative industry. Our upcoming "Multicultural Youth Filmmaking, Screen Acting & Music Composing Program 2022" will be a project that provides culturally diverse young people the skill set and platform to make their dreams come true.
