One Spirit One World Details
One Spirit, One World (www.onespiritoneworld.org) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles, and dedicated to supporting human and animal causes with the focus on animals, education, nonviolence, and the environment. It was founded by award-winning artist activist Geela Parish (www.geela.com) in 2001. Through the organization, a number of campaigns were launched such as "Operation Healing for the World & Giving with the Stars" to help advance the cause of nonviolence while promoting a culture of peace. Currently the organization is launching "Fur-ever Friends: until no dog is left behind", a life-saving campaign to help end dog homelessness and horrific animal abuse with the help of a small army of dedicated volunteers and in a collaborative effort with like-minded celebrities. The official mascot and spokesdog for the campaign is the world's one and only lion dog known as Cutie, The Lion Dog (www.cutietheliondog.com). He is a gay rescued dog with most unusual looks and rare talents, who uses his star power to be the voice for the voiceless while raising awareness and money for rescued dogs in the spirit of dog-feed-dog.
