Oil & Energy - Houston, Texas, United States
Everyone has different Budget needs, Engineering specifications, Safety requirements, Environmental concerns, Communication requirements, and Manpower availability. That's why we make 9 different signalers utilizing 4 different technologies. If you want a traditional approach our sister company makes an invasive omnidirectional target signaler that can be installed via weld boss, flange or valving system for in service insertion and extraction. Made of materials compliant with NACE MR-01-75, the standard sensor fits typical requirements of most Oilfield Applications. It comes complete with a manual flag and SPDT or DPDT relay packages can be added to the standard kit for remote indication of pig passage. Online Manufactures 3 different types of Signalers at Aberdeen. MAGNETICThe 4000 SD is a subsea detector utilizing the detection of passing magnetic fields to signal pig passage. It has local OLED indication of parameters and Flashing LEDs for pig passage. It can communicate with the surface thru ROV umbilicals, hard wired connections or utilizing acoustic pingers to signify passage. The 4001D ATEX/IECEx rated topsides signaler for land and offshore rig, utilizes magnetic field passage as does the 4000SD, The 4003D CSA US,C rated unit is built for onshore and topsides service offers an upgraded magnetometer, local communication via local flashing indicators, digital display and now Bluetooth communication with the unit. It also has Relay outputs, 4-20mA signals and now RS485 MODBUS communication to not only allow for remote query and programming. Ultrasonic ActivesThe 5001A is for used with liquid filled lines. It pulses an active signal across the pipe and lookes for sequential misssed signals. As above local indication and remote signals are available. Ultrasonic PassivesThe 5000 P and 5002P ATEX/IECEx units listen to the sounds made when pigs interact with the pipe walls. Available for Liquid, Gas and Multiphasic lines.
