Founded in 1937, the OAP is the oldest pathology organization in the country. As a not-for-profit medical society organized for educational and scientific purposes, we foster excellence in the practice of pathology and laboratory medicine in Ontario through:- Representation on the MOHLTC Advisory Group; OMA - Laboratory Medicine Section; Cancer Care Ontario; QMPLS Advisory Committee and Forensic Pathology Advisory Committee. - Annual Meeting designed as an Accredited Group Learning Activity which includes excellent topical Scientific program and Cancer Care Ontario/OAP Symposium, as well as political and economic updates. Members enjoy the opportunity to network with colleagues and interact with speakers renowned in their area of expertise.- Support learning opportunities for Pathologist Assistants at the Annual meeting.
