The Shareholders of AGS FROESCH RUSSIA are the AGS Group (Head office Paris, France) and the FROESCH Group (Head office Koblenz, Germany). The History of AGS FROESCH RUSSIA dates back to 1982 when the German based FROESCH Group opened a representative office in Moscow in order to better service its diplomatic customers, primarily German and American diplomats. The AGS Group is with over 120 branches one of the largest moving companies in the world and has 16 branches in Eastern Europe. AGS opened its Moscow office in 1998 and focused on international moving services for corporate customers. In 2005 the management of both AGS and FROESCH were looking for ways to expand faster in Russia and to reduce the operating costs in order to be able to offer even better rates to our customers. Having had a friendly business relationship for decades, the shareholders of AGS and FROESCH entered into discussions to merge their russian offices. When they analyzed the situation in detail they came to the conclusion that their russian companies were a perfect fit for a merger. They had different customer portfolios and were concentrating on different international traffic lanes. The merger was finalized in December 2005 and as of January 1, 2006 AGS FROESCH OOO was fully operational in Moscow. Since then the company is cementing its position as one of Russia´s leading international moving companies and growing at a fast pace.
