De kunstenaars uit de Nieuwmarktbuurt in Amsterdam houden ieder jaar een weekend 'open atelier'. Tijdens dit evenement ontvangen zij u persoonlijk in hun atelier en tonen daar hun kunst, hun werkruimte en werkwijze. Een unieke kans om op een andere manier kennis te maken met de oude binnenstad van Amsterdam en de kunstenaars die er wonen en werken. Behalve de ateliers kunt u ook de centrale overzichtstentoonstelling bezoeken.De 'Open Ateliers Nieuwmarkt' wordt gehouden op 6 en 7 oktober 2018 van 12.00 tot 18.00 uur. Op zondag 7 oktober is de centrale tentoonstelling vanaf 14:00 uur te bezichtigen.De feestelijke opening van de centrale expositie is op vrijdag 5 oktober om 17.00 uur in de Zuiderkerk. Toegang is gratis. De Zuiderkerk is rolstoeltoegankelijk.----One weekend a year, artists of the Nieuwmarkt area open up their studios to the public in the annual βOpen Ateliers Nieuwmarkt'. Artists welcome you to view their artwork and discuss concepts, techniques and their work methods. Visiting local artists in their studios is an interesting experience and original way to see one of the oldest parts of the city and take a special souvenir back home. The central exhibition in the Zuiderkerk features an overview of all participating artists.The festive opening is on Friday the 5th of October at 5:00 p.m. The central exhibition and the artists' studios are open to the public all weekend. Entrance is free.The βOpen Studios Nieuwmarkt' will be held on the 6th and 7th of October 2018 from noon till 6:00 p.m. On Sunday the 7th of October the central exhibition opens at 2:00 p.m. The Zuiderkerk is wheelchair accessible.
