In a society and economy where the measure of innovation is the amount of intellectual property it holds, it is imperative we document ideas of the great minds of our times. As agencies like the United States Patent Office (USPTO) have become too expensive and complicated for a common person, the Open-Inventors platform is aimed to become a catalog of inventions for people who need an alternative. We are currently looking for daring scientists, scholars, academics, students, tinkerers, hobbyists, and home-inventors to signup for our beta program. Our first beta release will have a simple invention-creation process following USPTO format and requirements. This structure serves multiple purposes. First, if an inventor wants to apply the idea with USPTO then a simple export will generate paperwork ready for filing. Secondly, for those who have no idea about how to document their inventions this framework is a great format to do so in. We strongly believe in capturing the genius of our society so we can decentralize and disrupt the innovation engine of our system so our future generations can benefit from our efforts to solve some of the most pressing problems humanity faces.
