Open Parachute creates mental health and well-being programs for schools that are designed to promote social and emotional development in students. Our lessons are built around documentary videos, showcasing real teenagers sharing their own experiences of overcoming struggle. These videos build empathy and reduce prejudice in the classroom by creating a culture of ethical and intercultural understanding. Our lessons also feature clinically validated, research-based psychological skills-building exercises to boost resilience, self-awareness, and social responsibility in youth, and increase their connection and systems of support.
