Originally designed by renowned sailing architect Jean-Marie Finot in France back in 2004 the boat has grown in Europe to be one of the largest one-design sport boat classes. The Open 5.70 offers a perfect blend of performance, excitement, simplicity and safety which makes it appealing to a wide spectrum of sailors. Whether it is day-sailing or one-design racing, with either your friends or your family, the Open 5.70 guarantees a great sailing experience in almost any conditions. For those sailors who are looking for a bigger adventure Open Sailing presents the Pogo 2 - a Mini TransAt designed by the Finot/Conq Architect Group. Even though Mini TransAt boats are only 21 feet they are built for offshore sailing and racing. The signature event for the class is the Mini TransAt - a biannual single handed race from France to Brazil that covers more than 4,000 nautical miles.
