Open Space Group Details
The purpose of the Open Space Group is to organize and fund developments and investigations in technologies, techniques, and materials that reduce the cost of outer space use by individuals and small businesses. This includes, but is not limited to, launch crafts, techniques, and mechanisms, communication and maintenance of space-based devices, and, potentially, manned travel to other worlds. The driving focus behind this broad-base of research is minimal costs across all phases and types of space usage.The primary use of funds will be the maintenance of existing projects and results, so that the results are continuously, easily available to a broad public, but under the event of a surplus of funds, the organization will solicit proposals for expansions of existing projects and wholly new projects that advance the mission of the Open Space Group.
