Sports - Pérols, Languedoc-Roussillon, France
The 8th edition of the Open Sud de France will take place from February 4th to 11th at the Sud de France Arena in Montpellier. This ATP 250 tennis tournament has quickly become an important event in the ATP schedule for the best French and international tennis players. After Gaël Monfils in 2010 and 2014, Thomas Berdych in 2012 and Richard Gasquet in 2013, 2015 and 2016, Alexander Zverev, the young German prodigy won the tournament in 2017 (single and doubles with his brother Mischa Zverev).Three years ago, the former French tennis player Sebastien Grosjean, replaced Patrice Domingez as the tournament director. He has since facilitated the welcoming of the greatest tennis players, and the rising tennis stars, which are the (bright) future of tennis.
