Open Web is the leading student organization at Boston University that integrates both software development and community building.Founded in the early spring of 2014, Open Web immediately established its presence as one of the leading technology clubs by providing a series of high-quality introductory workshops that attracted a diverse mixture of students majoring in different colleges across Boston University. Open Web is the brainchild of a small core group of ambitious students who aim to spread software development to the world. Our mission is to provide students the opportunity to collaborate, learn, and practice software development together while also sharing knowledge with our surrounding community. Students pick a project they want to work on, pair up with other students, and work on all aspects of a project – design, development, and web analytics.Mission:Open Web's purpose is to bring students together to create high-quality technical projects. Acting as mentors and advisors, the Open Web team strives to bring interactive workshops and instructional lectures to help our students and members develop technical and presentation skills, and give back to the community.
