The OpenRobotics project's vocation is to simplify the prototyping process and establish open standards.Up to now, a modular and open-source solution allowing general public to develop a complete robot or a simple actuator with reasonable time and money expanses has yet to come.We believe that everybody will be able to develop robots for specific or multi-purpose applications, thanks to a variety of modules and standard developing rules.OpenRobotics targets advanced beginners to professionals who wants to build a fully featured modular prototype almost ready for production.Because the project will be Open-Source, anybody will be free to submit their own contributions thus expanding the range of possible applications of this platform.
