Mental Health Care - Parker, Colorado, United States
We serve Military Service Members, Veterans, Emergency Responders and their families, caregivers, and health care professionals. Working with individuals, families, and those who serve these individuals and families such as mental and physical health providers, Chaplains, and volunteers for Military & Veteran-serving organizations. We also serve as a teaching and training program for interns, civilians, and other practitioners who desire to have a deeper and more relevant understanding of Military and Veteran culture. We are steadfastly committed to not only bringing together our Warriors (active military service members and veterans) and our Protectors (emergency responders) and their families with civilians with the goal of not only achieving deeper understanding and healing, but also in assisting them with their own understanding of themselves, their wounds, and to provide a safe space for each one to find healing, self-compassion, more peace, and self-forgiveness. This enables them to more fully embrace their Warrior/Protector selves, while also improving connection with their families and with the civilian society in which they now live and operate. This additionally gives civilians the opportunity to better understand the role and experience of the Warrior/Protector in our communities, giving them increased empathy, a wider perspective, and a deeper appreciation for the sacrifices that military service members, veterans, emergency responders, and their families make in service to our country and to our communities. We engage our participants from a Warrior Ethos perspective: honoring, respecting, and working with that identity in them, from wherever they are beginning their healing journey.
