Opes-Lcef provides patient capital to early-stage companies whose products and services improve the lives of low-income people and create positive social and environmental impact. We were one of the first Italian vehicles to support social enterprises in the developing and emerging economies, and recently in Italy.We also support our companies with mentorship, strategic guidance, governance, temporary management, and search for additional capital needed to scale into long-term solutions. We support the social impact ecosystem by organizing training initiatives, "boot-camps", for social entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, young people, innovators, and others. We actively promote private sector solutions to locally address poverty and inequality. We deploy capital using gender and refugee lens investing.
