OPG Waste is a subsidiary of the OPG Group. OPG Waste was launched as a result of us seeing the need for a service that many sectors i.e. retail, industrial and property management were experiencing problems with. Due to the hazardous and poisonous nature of Mercury Vapour that is found in majority of lamps, the disposal process has been regulated. The common process whereby lamps were discarded with domestic waste has been deemed harmful to the environment. OPG Waste is utilizing machinery that absorbs 99% of the Mercury Vapour from the crushed lamps.-Our procedure is very simple and customer friendly.-OPG collects the redundant lamps from the client. -Crush the lamps. -Dispose of the lamps and issue a Safe Disposal Crushing Certificate.
