We look at a conference scheduling problem with the objective of maximizing the ability of participants to attend sessions of interest. Capacity planning problem is the main focus of Opimera in order to assign the optimum room into time slots based on the participant's interest , room size and Presenter's preferences. All the presentations are assigned efficiently to avoid too many participants in a particular session. Linear Programming model has been developed to produce a schedule that maximizes the participants' satisfaction in terms of capacity planning subject to the capacity constraints. The conference committee needs to access the preferences and availability of participants prior to construct the schedule.
